Description

This is my first entry for the Pouflon MYO contest!

Every trait on her is common!
Her body type is Polo!
Name: Spell Bound
Personality: Spell Bound is a positive ball of energy and would love to share her experiences with others! However she doesn't get the chance most often times...She is somewhat self centered, she enjoys herself, but is also very aware of herself so she never becomes to cocky. Spell Bound is impulsive and makes rash decisions, often because she feels she is aware of what another person feels about her. Spell Bound has an air of mystery to her, she can be quite secretive and quiet when she wants to, but she is very sensitive about the topic of family.

Background (Origin): Spell Bound was a daughter of two, unique Pouflons. Her father had come from Goldfair as a mere farmer, he quite enjoyed his plain life. He was extremely positive no matter what, always a big smiley cheerful boy, and was a big help around the farm. Spell Bound's mother was completely different, an adventurous traveler. Her origins were unknown, but she had mentioned being from a certain swamp, but it was only a brief conversation in which she changed the subject. She had traveled across the far expanse of Bellacoste, spending a lot of time at Riddlelock and Chrysanthos. When the two unlikely Pouflons met, it was automatically a connection. Spell Bound's father had become infatuated with her mother's interesting beliefs and wild personality, while her mother had been intrigued by his homely tales from Goldfair, where his life was tranquil and comfortable. He had gone to Chrysanthos as a trip for certain goods, and she had been merely traveling, but they ended up staying there for a week. They talked and exchanged stories of their lives and thoughts, and it was love. He brought her flowers and planned picnics, while she played games and taught him how to make medicines and what it was like to jump across a river. After the week was up, she knew she had fallen for him, and as impulsive as she was, she begged to stay with him, she loved him. He all too quickly agreed and they planned for their own baby, and it did not take long for their bud to take place. The bud soon blossomed into a young Spell Bound, a name both parents agreed to. They loved and cherished their little girl, she was beautiful. When Spell was nearly a month old though, things were drastically changed. Perhaps her mother's wild, rash side had once again kicked in, or something darker, more sinister, was embedded in her future, but one night while Spell's father was sleeping, her mother quickly rounded her outside. Her mother was crying, but also very determined looking, and ignored the questions of her young offspring. She took Spell far far far away, and they did not stop. Spell cried and ached and wanted to go home, but her mother kept nudging her forward. Finally, the reached a dark, mysterious swamp called Marshgrave, and her mother grimaced, sniffling and crying. Her mother took her to a cabin, or house of some sort, and knocked on the door. She very faintly whispered "my debt," and  turned to Spell. She gave her a quick kiss and her best regards, told her to be good and never forget what she once had. She told her to be careful of wishes, because good things never come freely, and then she left. She raced deeper into the marsh, and Spell Bound never saw her mother again after that night. However, after her mother fled, the door was opened and a mysterious figure stood and beckoned her in quickly.

Background (personal): Spell Bound never saw her new guardian's face, they always were shrouded in dark, and never spoke much to Spell Bound, probably to keep their identity a secret. They were kind, but firm and not much company. They could be scary and always mysterious, and the first few night Spell Bound cried all night, missing her parents. They let her cry, never providing much comfort though, but after the third night they started teaching her. Though they only taught her a few lessons directly, they left a lot of messages for her to learn from. She learned recipes, medicines, directions for potion making. Spell Bound was very distant while she worked, but she found a pleasant joy in reading through the old scrolls within the house. She loved experimenting with ingredients, and they praise she got. Her unnamed teacher slipped in and out a lot, they hardly ever stood in one place long enough for Spell Bound to see them clearly. Spell Bound had few rules in the house, but she had to work, to learn something. She was allowed to go outside and roam, but she was to be back before dark. Spell Bound was not happy, but she grew comfortable, and she never asked questions. In fact, she never really spoke to her teacher, she just did her part and read through old writings and books. After she became a knowledgeable Pouf, her early adulthood stage, the teacher finally told her that her time was up, and that she no longer had to stay there. Spell Bound was a bit confused at first, because this was the only home she'd ever really known. Spell packed a lot of books and written notes that she'd taken, many ingredients and such. She was always angry with the thought of her mother, how could she have taken her from her own father and left her with strangers? She resented her mother for being so selfish. So, on her journey, she traveled to Goldfair. In her short period of time with her parents, she had learned where her father had come from. She asked around and finally discovered where her father lived, he was much older and not as happy as he once was. Because of her years of silence and small company, her social skills weren't as quick as everyone else's, but growing up in the forest taught her quick reflexes and she could see when someone looked at her wrong or whispered to another about her. When Spell Bound came to her father's house, he was very quiet for a long time. He recognized her, of course, but he did not believe it. He cried for a very long time, and when he was done, Spell told him of what her life had been like. He followed the story vigorously, and pondered at who the two mystery Pouflons were. He had never been one for much gossip, and Spell's mother had never mentioned them ever. He told Spell that he had not seen her mother since the night she left, but she had a left a single note. "My dearest love, I am repaying my debt, forgive me." Spell's father had moved on after many years, and he had started a new family, but it was not the same. He was certain that his lover was still alive, but he would never see her again. Spell Bound knew that her father actually had very little knowledge of her mother's past life, so she decided to travel to Riddlelock, where her mother spent her longest time. Spell's father begged her to stay, it had been so long since he saw her, but she was determined to discover why her mother had abandoned them. Spell made small talk with many Pouflons upon her way, but she didn't connect very well with any, and she felt like an outcast. Many Pouflons looked at her strangely, perhaps because Spell Bound was happy, but so distant and mysterious at the same time. When Spell found a few of her former friends, even they could not tell her much about her mother, only that she was barren. They claimed that she had always wanted a child of her own, desperately, so desperately that she would've even visited the Marshgrave, to see a witch. Spell was perhaps even more confused, as she had never heard of witches ever. Many Poufs would shy away from the mention, so after long searching she finally found a someone who informed her. Most Pouflon witches made deals and wishes come true, but for a price. Spell Bound realized that her name was quite meaningful, and she always wondered...maybe she had lived in the shadow of a witch? Did that make her bad, that her only parent had been a quiet, sinister witch? She never talked about it though, it would only make her more of a freak. Spell Bound went back to Goldfair to stay with her father, and she lived with him for a few years, but she felt unwanted by her step-mother and half-brother. She didn't fit in, so she bid her father farewell and promised to see him again soon. Spell Bound moved to Citremery, where she set up her own shop of special herbs and medicines. She is known for her knowledge on herbs and such, but she does. It brew potions. She only sells the ingredients and basic recipes for potions, and many ask for her special recipes but she refuses to give them out. Spell Bound has a nice home there and fits in with most Pouflons there, she enjoys the water and bustling streets. On her weekends she closes up shop and travels to Redwick Forest (sometimes the edges of Marshgrave) to find new ingredients to trade and sell. Spell Bound hopes to find her mother one day, and ask her many questions. She also plans to discover who her mysterious teacher was.

Holy shit this took me SO LONG to write I hope it's okay ;;;0;;;
